Hello there! Who am I? I am a Houston-based photographer, a proud Texan since the age of 13. I owned my very first camera when I was 8 years old, as a birthday gift from my parents. Who would have thought that after 5 years of studying Engineering, photography would turn into something that I am very passionate about?

My style can be said to be photojournalistic. When photographing your special event I try to tell a story. I enjoy getting to know you, and becoming the person you can trust on to capture all the details of your event. I like to make my sessions fun and enjoyable, which makes it easier for me to capture YOU; to me that is what makes the session unique for both you and me. Melinda & Tony – Engagement Photography Session – Brooklyn, NY

Melinda and Tony are getting married next month in Houston, but currently live in Brooklyn, NY. Since the wife and I were planning a trip to NY, we thought, what better place to do an engagement shoot than New York City! The couple had only met me over email and phone conversations so I thought this would also be a great opportunity to get to meet each other in person before the wedding.  Melinda and Tony were naturals in front of the camera. They have great chemistry and are such a fun couple! Looking forward to the wedding!

Alicia & Victor – Engagement Session – Houston TX

Alicia and Victor are getting married in September and I am pretty pumped about their wedding! Love working with my couples before the wedding to get to know them and so they feel comfortable in front of the camera on their wedding day. Alicia and Victor were so relaxed during the session that they sometimes seemed to forget I was there! Enjoy my favorites and don’t forget to leave a comment if you like what you see!

Yesenia & Javier – Engagement Session – Houston TX

Nothing like shooting a session in June at 95+ degrees F to remind me how hot summers in Houston can get (and they get even hotter)!  Big props to Yesenia and Javier for looking their best even in the humidity and heat. Yesenia couldn’t decide between doing a country western look or an urban/downtown look, so we did both!  After 9 years of dating they are tying the knot in Cancun, Mexico. Enjoy the photos!

Lori & Dennis – Engagement Session – Austin, TX

May 13, 2011

Headed out of town for my first engagement session in Austin. It was nice to get a change of scenery! Lori’s bridals were taken in the morning and then after a short break we headed to the Zilker Botanical Gardens for their engagement photos. Loved the greenery, especially all that bamboo in the Japanese Gardens. Lori and Dennis will be getting married next weekend in Houston.  Stay tuned for Lori’s bridals after the wedding!
