Hello there! Who am I? I am a Houston-based photographer, a proud Texan since the age of 13. I owned my very first camera when I was 8 years old, as a birthday gift from my parents. Who would have thought that after 5 years of studying Engineering, photography would turn into something that I am very passionate about?
My style can be said to be photojournalistic. When photographing your special event I try to tell a story. I enjoy getting to know you, and becoming the person you can trust on to capture all the details of your event. I like to make my sessions fun and enjoyable, which makes it easier for me to capture YOU; to me that is what makes the session unique for both you and me. My wife’s company holds a yearly raffle of prizes and proceeds benefit the Special Olympics Texas. This year I decided to participate, so congratulations to the Saenz family for winning a photo session! I got to meet Baby J during his newborn session so it was great to see how much he’d changed a year later. Luckily for me he is one of the few babies that actually found my camera more interesting than the grass :) Group pictures aren’t the easiest with little ones, so big thanks to big sister C for knowing all the right songs to make baby brother smile!
Meet the Padilla family! Cristina and I have been known each other for a few years now as we both studied electrical engineering together. Her husband Juan also went to UH and graduated as an EE, but he is old school (heh just a few years ahead of us). If I am not doing a photography session during the weekend you will most likely see me hanging out with them and their adorable daughter, Arianna. Baby Liam was all smiles for the camera, even with this terrible Houston heat! I’ve shot at this location a number of times yet I still seem to find something new each time I go.
